We are a specialty coffee roastery from Berlin. We stand for respect, transparency and genuine fairness.
A geometric sans serif in nine weights and two widths, drawn as one variable font. Forked from Albert Sans, with a redrawn Q, a new ff ligature, and the long-stem g and open ampersand set as defaults.
The centred vertical bar read as the Quake logo. It is now a diagonal stroke crossing the bowl, held at a fixed −52° so the angle never drifts with weight.
Previously tucked away in ss02. The accented forms — ğ ĝ ġ ģ — follow automatically.
The “et” form, previously ss04, is now the default and keeps its own width and kerning.
New in v1.4, drawn after the fi: first arm trimmed, one fused crossbar. Until now the two f were kerned apart to hide the clash.

Our Direct Trade Principles
We make the big world of specialty coffee easy for you.
At Coffee Circle, we offer the world’s finest coffee and equipment. We roast all coffees to perfection and serve and ship them freshly. We always aim to deliver the best flavor experience for our customers. We source directly from coffee growers and pay high prices for high-quality coffee. We treat people how we want to be treated, and respect all humans as they are.
We promote positive social change in coffee-growing regions, support research to make coffee farming more climate-smart and secure the income of coffee farmers and their families for generations to come.
Coffee Circle was founded in 2010 in the spirit of discovery and change. Our own roastery followed in 2016, and the first café in Berlin in 2019.
